Jeani Thomas Richie - Broker and TrainerHowdy! I am a second generation Texas REALTOR who loves real estate and is committed to providing the highest level of service. I am passionate about serving my industry, the property owners of Texas and about education in real estate. I dedicate time to protecting private property rights through my involvement with the Texas Association of REALTORS and TREPAC (Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee). I have served as a TREPAC Trustee, TREPAC Chairman and on the PAC as well as serving 2006-2008 on TAR Governmental Affairs and 2006-2010 on TAR Political Affairs. Locally I serve the New Braunfels/Canyon Lake Association of REALTORS (NBCLAR) on the TREPAC, Education, and PR committees and the TAR Professional Development committee. My commitment to education runs deep and I love dedicating time to furthering my own education as well as that of my fellow REALTORS. As a TREC Certified MCE Instructor, Real Estate Trainer, Leadership Facilitator and Curriculum Writer I live by the creedo "If you aren't learning, then you aren't living!" I am a 2005 graduate of the TRLP (Texas REALTORS Leadership Program) and believe in giving back to those who have blessed me so much. My son Jordan is my "WHY" for what I do. He attends Mountain Valley Middle School where he plays trombone in the Mighty Hawk band, plays football, basketball, tennis, golf and is a Boy Scout First Class rank with Troop 133. He is a true gift from God and blesses my life everyday! I am fortunate to be able to work in an industry I love along side my Mom, who taught me most of what I know about the business. Her courage and commitment are to be admired and she is a local industry icon...I am truly blessed to have her as a mother, friend and business partner.
B.J. Thomas - Owner/AgentI have lived in 28 homes in my lifetime and spent the past 20 years as a Texas REALTOR helping others through the process that I have come to know so well. I learned a lot relocating from East Coast to West and places in between with my late husband who was an engineer in the computer industry for 40 years. I understand and empathize with the feelings and needs of relocation buyers and sellers and after making my final destination move to Canyon Lake, Texas in 1991, I understand retirement and vacation home buyers and sellers as well. I love real estate and have dedicated the past 25 years serving my clients and industry in many leadership roles over the years. I learned early on that people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care, so giving back is extemely important to me. I have served on the board of directors of New Braunfels/Canyon Lake Association of REALTORS including as NBCLAR President in 1996 and was recognized as REALTOR of the Year in 1994. It has been a privilege to watch my daughter follow in my footsteps and earn those same honors and even more so to be able to work with her in the industry that I love so much. Jeani has broken the mold and taken her business to the next level by earning her broker's license and making EXIT Hill Country Realty a reality for both of us. I enjoy spending time playing with my grandson, Jordan and watching his basketball games and band concerts, serving at Canyon Lake United Methodist Church in various leadership and committee positions, playing in a ladies Bunco group and volunteering in the community that has so richly blessed my life.
